General Info

  • Do I need to be a member? No. Guests are welcome, but memberships offer significant savings. If you play 2+ hours weekly, a Gold or Silver membership can save you $100/month.

  • Do you have a spectator area? Yes! Our café offers a comfortable spot to watch games and grab a bite.

  • Do I need my own equipment? No. Paddles are available to rent. Non-marking court shoes are required.

 

Membership & Booking

  • Can non-members play? Yes. Non-members can reserve courts (1 day in advance) and join events.

  • How far in advance can I reserve? Gold: 14 days | Silver: 7 days | Bronze: 3 days | Non-members: 1 day.

  • What is the court reservation fee? $36/hour for non-members. Members pay less. Fee is per court, not per person.

  • How many people per reservation? Up to 6 people per reservation.

  • Can I cancel my membership? Requires 30-day notice before renewal. Memberships are annual.

  • Can I pause my membership? Only for medical reasons (2+ months). One suspension/year with doctor’s note.

 

Open Play & Events

  • What is Open Play? A drop-in session, free - $20 depending on the level of membership you chose.

  • Do I need to register? Pre-registration is recommended to ensure your spot.

  • Can guests join events? Yes, many are open to non-members, though members enjoy discounted rates.

  • Do you host tournaments or lessons? Yes! Both members and guests can join. Some events are member-only.

Facility Amenities

  • Is there a Pro Shop? Yes. We offer pickleball gear and apparel.

  • Are there food and drinks? Yes! Enjoy salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, snacks, desserts, beer, wine & more.

  • Are restrooms and showers available? Yes. Includes one shower and changing room.

  • Do you have cameras? Yes, for safety and potential live streaming/playback.

 

CourtReserve App

  • What is it? A free app to manage bookings and events.

  • Do I need it? Yes. Sign up for a free CourtReserve account to book courts and join events.

 

Guests & Groups

  • Can I invite a guest? Yes! Members can bring non-member guests for $9/hour.

  • Do guests need an account? Yes. Guests must create a free "non-member" account and sign a waiver.

  • Can I reserve multiple courts? Yes, for private events. Contact info@thelocalpickle.net.

 

Additional Info

  • Club Hours: 7am–10pm daily (subject to change). Remote lock access coming soon.

  • Peak vs. Non-Peak Pricing? No peak pricing. Flat court rates all day.

  • Are there leagues or beginner programs? Yes! We offer social programming, leagues, and Open Play for all levels.

  • When do memberships start? Official launch expected in February (subject to adjustment).
